Storm Rising

Terms of use

Updated 17 October 2026

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Jacob Morley, who runs Storm Rising in the United Kingdom. By using Storm Rising you agree to them. The App Store or Google Play terms also apply to the app itself. Our privacy policy explains how we use your data.

What Storm Rising does

Storm Rising lets members of the Storm Rising team book and pay for coaching sessions with the team's coaches. The coaching itself is given by the coach you book.

For coaches

You are responsible for the sessions you give, your availability, and treating players' details only for coaching them. Your earnings are the session price less the Storm Rising share shown in the app, and are paid through Stripe, whose Connected Account Agreement also applies to you. Earnings from a session become available after it has taken place.

Fair use

Do not misuse Storm Rising: no false bookings, harassment, sharing the team code outside the team, trying to get into other people's accounts, or anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Our responsibility to you

We work to keep Storm Rising running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for losses caused by a session a coach or player misses, other than refunding what you paid as set out above. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and your rights as a consumer under UK law are not affected.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms, and the date at the top changes when we do. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
