Cookie policy
Updated 17 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Apps can store similar things on your phone. This page lists everything Storm Rising stores, which is very little.
The app
The Storm Rising app sets no cookies and has no adverts, analytics or tracking tools. It keeps one thing on your phone: your sign in token, in the phone's secure storage (the Keychain on iPhone, the Keystore on Android), so that you stay signed in. It is removed when you sign out.
Patreon and Stripe
When you log in with Patreon or pay for a session, the app opens Patreon's or Stripe's own page. Those pages are run by Patreon and Stripe, and they may set their own cookies, for example to keep you signed in to Patreon or to prevent payment fraud. Their own cookie policies cover them.
This website
This site (stormrising.jacobmorley.co.uk) sets no cookies.
Why there is no cookie banner
Everything above is strictly necessary for the app to work, so UK law does not require us to ask for consent. If we ever add anything that is not, we will ask first and update this page.
